American Holistic Nurses Association St. Louis Chapter

A call for Help!

Posted 12 days ago by Sue Leon

Dear AHNA Nurses,

Since 2018, I have had the privilege of serving as the Chapter Leader for the AHNA STL Chapter. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to connect with wonderful individuals within the organization. Regrettably, due to personal family challenges over the past few years, I have made the difficult decision to step down from this leadership role. I believe this decision is in the best interest of the Chapter, as it will enable someone else to dedicate the time and energy necessary for its continued success. My resignation will be effective at the end of May, 2024.

I'm reaching out to each and every one of you with a heartfelt plea: our AHNA STL Chapter needs a new leader to step forward and carry on the invaluable work we've been doing together. The time commitment required for this role is truly manageable, and I am committed to offering my ongoing support to both the Chapter and the new leader, aiding in a smooth transition.

I urge you to take a moment to reflect on the impact this Chapter has had on your journey as a holistic nurse. Consider the connections made, the knowledge shared, and the lives touched through our collective efforts. Your unique perspective and dedication are what make our community so special.

Please, take this opportunity to step up and make a difference. If no one is able to take on the role, our Chapter will unfortunately face a period of inactivity starting at the end May. Let's keep the spirit of holistic nursing alive and vibrant within our community. Thank you for considering this call to action.
